Rest and recuperation in Ballarat

Hello lovely bloggers,

Just a quick post for NaBloPoMo - 12 for 12 today!  Yay!

DH and I have taken a short trip away to the country for two days to stay with my DU and DA in Ballarat. It is chance for my to get away from all the rigours of our busy home - DS1, DD, DS2 and FIL - and get some rest and pampering. My DU and DA spoil me dreadfully (which I just adore) when I come to stay.

They are both gourmet cooks, so it is always yummy food and nothing for me to do!

This morning we went to a Farmer's market on the shores of Lake Wendouree and I bought some lovely jams and chutneys to take home.  Even though Lake Wendouree is not far from their home, we had to drive as earlier this morning, when I walked the 500 or 600 metres to the shop and back to buy some gorgeous fruit bread - I was so exhausted I had to rest for 20 minutes.  So, needless to say, I am not over my illness - I have now been to the doctor's 4 times in one month and she has put me on uber antibiotics to help knock it out of me but so far there has been no improvement!  I don't know what to do - the coughing is exhausting me and now I have conjunctivitis as well!

I will post some pics of the Farmer's market when I work out how to bluetooth them from DH's phone to my Mac.

Now, don't forget my 'Just because' Giveaway, it closes in three days - you can check it out here.

Also,  as at I am nearly at a 100 followers - if I reach 100 by the time the Giveaway closes I will have a second prize to giveaway - not sure what it will be yet but keep on eye on this space, as the common saying goes. So spread the word.

Hugs, Kaye xoxox
